FCF, or Frontiersman Camping Fellowship, is a service organization under the auspice and guidance of the Royal Rangers ministry. It endeavors to develop in each member the same courageous and undaunted spirit of the early frontiersman. High moral and contagious enthusiasm are developed by urging each member to strive toward five important goals. Each member is encouraged to demonstrate courage, display achievement, develop friendships, demonstrate leadership, and develop woodsmanship.

FCF serves an important role in the Royal Rangers ministries, by helping to attract and keep boys interested in the Royal Rangers and help fill a role in keeping those boys involved.  This is done through several ways.  FCF provides events for FCF members that allow them to develop their frontiersman skills while allowing them to also build life-long friendships with both boys and men.  FCF members are strongly encourage to mentor and sponsor boys into FCF to help get them involved in service and to build them as disciples of Christ.

There are several pages in this about menu that talk about the spirit, purpose, pledge, and symbol of FCFFCF members take this things to heart, and this is evidenced by their willing to go on Pathfinder trips, to places where there is no running water and electricity, and travel is difficult.  It is shown in their willingness to help a fellow member or the widow and children of a FCF member that has gone on to the Great Rendezvous who is in need.  They show their committment to the ideals of FCF every time an altar call is given at a Royal Rangers function when they are in the altar praying with men and boys or when they are available to help outposts get things set up when they arrive after dark.
