FCF Adventure
Ready to join FCF? Or do you have boys that are eligible and tearin’ at the bit to get into FCF? The FCF adventure for all incoming FCF candidates is coming up April 9-10, 2010. All applicants must have a sponsor that will; 1) fill out the application paperwork and send it to Rodney “Bow Breaker” Briggs, 2) prepare the applicant for the Adventure, 3) attend the Adventure, 4) pay for the applicant’s fees, $35 and 5) provide a nice gift for the applicant. As you can see, the sponsor plays a huge role in the applicant successfully navigating the rough trail of the FCF Adventure. If you’re interested in FCF but don’t have a sponsor, contact FCF Vice-President Rodney “Bow Breaker” Briggs and he’ll help arrange someone in your area to be your sponsor and help you get ready for membership.
To be eligible to join FCF, boys must be at least 11 years old and have completed the following merits:
Ropecraft Firecraft Cooking Compass
Lashing Camping Toolcraft First Aid Skills
For commanders to be eligible, they must have earned or taught those same merits as well as completed the Ranger Basics course of training.
